Ethereal Visions was created August 16th, 2008 after having decided it was time to get rid of my old domain sailorcrystals.net. I felt as though I had outgrown the domain ever since the Yahoo! User rooms had been shut down and I've always been procrastinating on changing domains. While sailorcrystals.net was my first domain and my baby I just couldn't keep up with it anymore. I was often embarrassed to host sites on the domain that weren't Sailor Moon related in fear that people would mistake it as a Sailor Moon site when it wasn't exactly.

Finally in August 2008 I decided it was time to give up sailorcrystals.net after having had it for about five years. The domain was set to expire on it's fifth birthday and that's when I decided to get rid of it. I had discussed the name choice with a bunch of my friends, primarily Sanneh who had helped me finally choose the right name. I had a variety of names chosen but a majority of them were taken by search engines. I was rather skeptical about using Ethereal Visions as my domain name but it finally made sense and it seemed to click with one of the RPGs I owned called "Evil Eyes: The Mummy."

When Ethereal Visions was first created it used WordPress as its major script. But after several weeks of having the script on the domain I decided to finally get rid of it and start making layouts of my own once again for I thrived for customization abilities. With us now using my own custom layouts, Ethereal Visions version two was born and now used FanUpdate as its primary script.

Ethereal Visions serves as an RPG resource primarily but we also host other content as well. We hope to expand our horizons as we grow over the years with site additions and other features.
