I need a vacation!

Well, a lot’s been going on lately and I’ll explain it in this entry. To start things off, Wednesday evening my aunt died from a stroke that she got at least three to four weeks ago. My dad’s also been having a lot of problems with his colon (I think, I’m not sure what it is), so yeah… My grandparents also came for Thanksgiving and were kind of a nag, which means that I hardly had any “me” time without being interrupted by them. To go into further detail, my laptop charger STILL hasn’t come in the mail so I haven’t been able to do anything site related except blogging (hence why I’m doing this now.) To put the icing on the cake we lost Internet on Sunday due to a power out. They managed to hook us up to the Internet with a new modem, but unfortunately our wireless router broke during the power out and now any wireless computer is stuck hacking into our neighbor’s Internet.

So yeah, a lot’s been going on lately and I’ve pretty lost all inspiration I’ve had for sites. Well, except for Forsaken and Silent Curse. I’m still eager to get SC going but honestly? I can’t do anything without my laptop. The laptop I’m using right now overheats really quickly so I can’t load many programs without having to deal with the heat. Not to mention, the Internet connection is incredibly slow (since I’m hacking my neighbor’s Internet, haha!) and all I can really do is browse a few websites and get on Yahoo! to RP in Forsaken. Heck, I’m lucky enough to get on Yahoo with how slow this thing runs. It’s a 2000 Dell, mind you!

Lately, I’ve been in the designing mood also. I’ve been eager to whip up a new layout for Eccentric but I can’t do it on this computer. T_T It’s like everything I want to do I can’t because my power cable STILL hasn’t come in the mail! I swear, for Best Buy’s sake my problem better just be the power cable and not the motherboard for making me wait two whole weeks just for it to come in!!

Laptop's dead. But good news!

Well, I’ve got some good news, some bad news and some site updates. The bad news is that my laptop, which is my work computer no longer has a charger. It is currently sitting in the corner of my room collecting dust until a new charger comes in the mail…..which should be around next week or the upcoming weekend. Sadly, I’ve had a bunch of projects that I was planning on working on during the upcoming week and all the information is stored on my laptop, so it’ll have to be put out for awhile until I can use it. Many of the projects include upcoming games, a possible layout change for Ethereal Visions, and other goodies. The good news? I managed to get some stuff done before my charger completely died on me!

Eccentric has a new layout featuring Voima Kage. It is a rather generic layout that I created after being rather eager to feature a layout based on her.

Silent Curse, which is Evil Eyes: The Mummy’s prequel game is now available for those to audition. Sadly upon its first week my laptop’s charger died on me so I haven’t been able to get much advertising done. I’m hoping that when my new laptop charger comes in the mail I can do more with it.

New outlook.

Upon decision, I have decided to make Ethereal Visions just an update and portal website to my site. I no longer desire to keep it a blog. What made me do this change? Well, I just do not have the inspiration to write in a blog. I feel as though my time is being spent on other things and I do not really update the blog anymore, anyway. Now let us get back on subject.

Forsaken has been updated with log 229, 230, and 231 and each can be found in Season 9. Each log follows up on one another, so it is strongly suggested that you read over them all to get the best feel. Then again, don’t all logs lead up to one another?

Crossing Over Time is closed down for good. Why? No one was active after our reopening; therefore, I decided to close it after keeping it open for an entire week. I do not see it coming back in the future; however, I do plan to make another game in the far future, once my life has settled back in.

Eccentric has been updated with a new page. Mainly a page that lists what characters I play from other series. The galleries were also reorganized to save space (as if I need to! XD) so it should be easier to navigate through. I have been thinking about adding in a rule page, but I do not see myself Role Playing any other chat room and one-on-one RPs for a long time as Forsaken occupies most of my time. e.e;
